How to connect FTP server to Monosnap
- Download Monosnap app
- Install and launch Monosnap on your computer
- Navigate to
macOS: Preferences > Account > FTP
Windows: Settings > Accounts > Add Service > FTP - Specify your FTP login details and fill the required fields:
- Host: your domain name or name of the hosting server where your account resides
- User: your cPanel username
- Password: your cPanel password
- Set up optional settings:
- Port
- Passive mode: check-box enables a passive mode
- Replace current files: option replaces files with the same name. Available only for Windows.
- Folder/Path: path to the folder on your server for uploaded files
- Base/Web URL: the consistent part of links for uploaded files
- Use Test connection button to check the connection with your FTP
- Use Clear button to reset FTP settings to defaults and erase all fields
