1. What is Commercial Use?
Our company defines commercial use as any use of our service for directly or indirectly financial gain, or in a commercial environment. It doesn’t matter whether your service is paid itself or your service is provided as the creation of an added value with financial compensation.
Any interactions with colleagues and customers at work or home office are defined as commercial use. If you are using Monosnap for your customers or clients or colleagues, it’ll be defined as commercial use. It doesn’t matter where you are working, at office or home; in the enterprise or as a freelancer. All job- and side job-related actions are defined as commercial use.
Any assisting organizations or companies, even as a volunteer.
Using Monosnap service in non-profit organizations is defined as commercial use. However, we can provide a discount for such organizations. For more information, please contact sales@monosnap.com.

2. What is Non-Commercial Use?
Monosnap is available for free for personal and family in a non-commercial environment. We define non-commercial use as any use for personal and family reasons without neither directly nor indirectly financial gain. Personal use means you use Monosnap service for yourself or to interact with family and friends without any financial benefit.
Here are some examples of non-commercial use:
- Providing some media files for your friends and relatives.
- Saving information about a planned visit to a store or a restaurant.
- Making a step-by-step guide for your friends and relatives.
- Using Monosnap in a non-commercial environment.
3. How can I activate my account?
To unblock Monosnap, please try the next steps:
1. Log in to Monosnap or App Store account. Perhaps, you forgot to log in to Monosnap or App Store account. In this case, press Activate button to log in and connect your subscription.
2. Buy Commercial Plan or request Enterprise Plan. You may buy the subscription by yourself or ask your license manager. After purchasing, your account will be automatically unblocked.
3. Request to activate your account. If you believe the way you use Monosnap is not commercial use, please contact support@monosnap.com. We'll help you to resolve the issue.
4. I have Commercial Plan, but I'm getting the alert on my Mac?
Perhaps, you forgot to log in to Monosnap or App Store account. In this case, please log in or re-login to connect your subscription. If it doesn't help, please contact support@monosnap.com. We'll help you!
If re-login doesn't help, please try to restore your subscription, according to this guide, or disable IPv6.
5. How to request activation of my account?
If you believe the way you use Monosnap is not commercial use, please contact support@monosnap.com with the subject "Commercial Environment Suspected error" Please describe your situation in detail to speed up the process. Our specialist will activate your account if it has been blocked accidentally.
6. How long does it take to consider my activation request?
Our specialists review every request. In the case of large numbers of requests or weekends, the consideration can take some time. We're trying to solve the requests within three business days. Thank you for your patience!
7. Does uninstalling Monosnap app help to activate?
No. The uninstalling doesn't reset the blocking Monosnap application. If you believe the way you use Monosnap is not commercial use, please contact support@monosnap.com.
8. Do you have discounts for educational organizations?
For educational organizations, we can provide a specialized plan. We welcome applicants from the following groups:
- Accredited primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions
- Nonprofit educational institutions
- School districts and regional service agencies
- Student groups from any of the above

9. I'm a student. Can I get a discount?
As a student, you can get an Education Plan for free. You need to register Monosnap account to your student email address and contact support@monosnap.com.
