Overview
Google Drive is great cloud storage that gives you 15 GB of space for free. Storage gets used by Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos to keep any files, email attachments, and backup media data.
Google Drive integration is available for Monosnap's customers with the plans and platforms below:

Get started with Google Drive
To complete the steps below, you need a Google Drive account. If you don’t have one already, you can register on the signup page.
macOS integration
Connect Google Drive to Monosnap
1️⃣ Launch Monosnap application
2️⃣ To open the main menu, press the Dropzone or Monosnap icon in the tray
3️⃣ Go to Settings > Accounts
4️⃣ Log in to your Google Drive account or create the new one
5️⃣ Give Monosnap required permissions
6️⃣ Return to the Monosnap Settings window to customize Google Drive integration

📂 On the macOS version, all files are uploaded to My Drive > Monosnap folder
1️⃣ ✅ Public links option makes uploaded files public to anyone by link
💡 Note: for Monosnap 4.5.0 and higher, upload settings are available in the burger menu of Monosnap editor and the video preview window. Default upload type is marked with ✔️
2️⃣ Make Default sets up Google Drive as the default service for uploads
3️⃣ Revoke access to your Google account
4️⃣ Log out
That’s it! Now you can upload your files to Google Drive using Monosnap.
Windows integration
Connect Dropbox to Monosnap
1️⃣ Launch Monosnap application
2️⃣ To open the main menu, press the Dropzone or Monosnap icon in the tray
3️⃣ Go to Settings > Accounts and make sure you're logged in to the Monosnap account
4️⃣ Press Add Service button
5️⃣ In the popup, find and select Google Drive. After, you'll be redirected to the Google Drive popup
6️⃣ Select access type for Monosnap application before login:
- Full access allows to set up a default folder for uploads
- Single folder access allows uploading files only to a special Monosnap folder that will be automatically created in your Google Drive
⚠️ To change the access type, re-login to your Google Drive account in the Monosnap app
7️⃣ Log in to your Google Drive account or create the new one
Return to the Monosnap Settings window to customize Google Drive integration

With Full access, Monosnap allows to set up a default folder for uploads
1️⃣ Go back to the containing folder
2️⃣ Refresh folder list
3️⃣ The address bar shows the location of the currently selected folder. You can also click into the Address Bar and enter a folder location manually
💡 Note: If you type an unexcited folder name, Monosnap automatically will create the new folder
4️⃣ Folder list
5️⃣ ✅ Public links option makes uploaded files public to anyone by link
💡 Note: for Monosnap 4.4.0 and higher, upload settings are available in the burger menu of Monosnap editor and video preview window. Default upload type is marked with ✔️
6️⃣ Star button indicates the default service for uploads. The yellow star shows the default service
With Single folder access, ✅ Public links options are available after auth
That’s it! Now you can upload your files to Google Drive using Monosnap.
