Overview
🎉 YouTube integration is available for all plans:
- Windows: Monosnap v. 4.1.7. and higher.
- macOS: Monosnap v. 3.6.0. and higher.
To complete the steps below, you need a YouTube account. If you don’t have one already, you can register on the signup page.
macOS integration
Upload video
🔹 Follow this guide: How to record videos?
🔹 In the video preview window, click burger to open the menu.
🔹 Select YouTube account.
🔹 Set up or edit YouTube settings:
- Rename video.
- Add description.
- Select upload type: Private or Public.
- Add tags.
🔹 Click Upload button.
Windows integration
Connect YouTube to Monosnap
1️⃣ Launch Monosnap application.
2️⃣ To open the main menu, press the Dropzone or Monosnap icon in the tray.
3️⃣ Go to Settings > Accounts.
4️⃣ Press Add Service button.
5️⃣ In the popup, find and select YouTube. After that, Monosnap will redirect you to the default browser. Please follow further instructions.
6️⃣ Return to the Monosnap Settings window to customize the integration.
Customize settings
After successful login, you will see YouTube settings.
To avoid entering the same data every time, you can set up default settings:
- Description. You may add your signature or social media links.
- Upload settings: Private, Public, Unlisted.
- Tags.
You can always edit or remove these data before each uploading in the video preview window.
Also, you can revoke Monosnap access to your Google Account.
